Molly & family just got back from New York, where we visited with Molly's uncles, aunts, and friends, and she danced all night at a wedding. Here are some pictures of Molly communing with the dirt and trees at Prospect Park in Brooklyn.

Happy Mothers

To all the mothers out there: I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day. To my mother: thank you for all the mothering you have done since before I was born, and thank you for everything you have done this year.

Zach & Molly did their best to make today lovely for me, but unfortunately I had to be on the other side of the bay, in a former military barrack-turned classroom, preparing for what will hopefully be the last of my licensing exams. The exam is in June, and there's a little added pressure this time: with another Z-F kid due in October, I won't have a chance to sit for this section again until next June, and at that point, if all goes well, I'll be returning to work with two kids.

I was able to get a moment in this morning with Molly before I ran off to class (see below) and Zach and Molly did get to enjoy the day: they had a nice long morning at Lake Temescal (see Molly waving to the camera, below).
