Today we spent the day in prospect park. We met Jesse, Stacy, Georgie, and Charlie for brunch, then we went to Kensington stables. After that we walked by the lake in prospect park and along the way we met Mike and Ruth. The highlight of the day for me was ice skating at the LeFrak center. Finnaly,we watched birds and played at Vanderbilt playground. The only pictures that we took are of us ice skating and the birds and Georgie. I'm having trouble posting more than one picture at a time on this trip, and I'm having trouble picking one picture at a time to post, so I'm going to experiment today with posting a folder of pictures and a link. Hope it works!
So, I've uploaded pictures here: https://drive.google.com/folder/d/0B5-EDAGHeW-0RXk4aHJ2R1pWSEk/edit
You should see pictures of Molly rocking Central Park, goofing at the zoo, amazing me with her Greek, Roman, and Ancient Egyptian knowledge, and even finding the bed from The Mixed Up Files of Someone Who's Name I Can't Remember. Enjoy!

After our walk we made a journey up to the northern tip of the island to see Nana, who is recovering from an amazing back surgery. She is doing amazing!
This is from last week's soccer celebration - soccer season is done & Clara went out with a bang, scoring a goal in the last game! Go Clara!
We walked the entire High Line today! It was beautiful. We met up with my college friends, Ruth, Mike, and Jesse, plus Jesse's son Charlie. So nice to see them!

Four hives and at least that many years later, we tasted the honey from the first real harvest of honey today. Our amazing neighbor, Iain has been on a mission fr several years to learn bee keeping. A group of us all chipped in to buy the hive, and he has taken the lead on tending the hive (and replacing and troubleshooting every time we lost a hive).
The verdict? Delicious! Thank you Iain!

Clara and the Dragonflies had their last game today. Clara rocked as goalie, and even scored one of the two goals of the game! I particularly enjoyed watching her get right in to the action with the ball.
Frustrations with scheduling and league communication aside, it has been a fantastic season for Clara, who told me today that she is considering dropping gymnastics to focus on her new love, soccer.
