Go Nona Go!

This weekend we'll be cheering Nona on (from a distance) as she does Avon's Walk for Breast Cancer. She's walking in honor of her friends and co-workers who have battled (or are still battling) cancer.

Needless to say, I'm incredibly proud of her. This walk not only honors her friends' struggles, but it honors the strength within her that we all know and love.

Molly's great grandparents took her to the museum this morning to see this wonderful "Noah's Ark" exhibit, with animals made out of all recycled materials and lots of interactive machines to explore. She had a great time, and when we got back she and her great grandma Marcia (AKA "GGMa") made their own ark.



The exhibit was also interesting because it talked about how the "deluge" myth was common among both Abrahamic and non-Abrahamic traditions throughout the world, which I didn't realize.
