Sweeney's Switchbacks - the hikers

And here are some of the lovely hikers...

Sweeney's Switchbacks - the towers

The hike criss crossed ski slopes, ski lifts, and utility lines, which made for striking photos and contrasts. The unused towers are the remains of the lifts that brought rock down from the mines before Park City was a ski town.

Sweeney's Switchbacks - the details

We are here during the cusp of summer and autumn. The contrast and colors have been beautiful!

Sweeney's Switchbacks - the scenery

After a rainy morning, we went for an evening hike on Sweeney's Switchbacks - some say the oldest trail in the Park City area.

Lake Mary

The hike took us right by Lake Mary, which was beautiful even though it was pouring rain at that point.

Scenes from Brighton

I (Sofi) am on vacation with some friends this weekend. Today, we ventured over to Brighton and had a fantastic hike, complete with 4 moose (mooses? moosii? miese? moosen?) 2 deer, and a thunderstorm.
