Second Day of School

First Day of School!

Molly had her first day of Kindergarten today! After much discussion, and even more anticipation, it finally happened, and it was great! I took her this morning and she was ready to say goodbye as soon as the teacher came to bring them inside. I wasn't quite ready yet - there was still a few minutes of "orientation" left - but I respected her wishes, sort of. I let her do the rest of the "orientation" on her own, but I did step up to give her one last hug when the teacher said it was time for *all* the parents to say goodbye - and leave.

She seems to have been thrilled with the whole day, and was excited to go to Via Nova afterwords to pick up Clara - and to tell her old teachers all about it!

Clara also had her first day back at Via Nova - now as a Lion Cub. She was fine, and Ticia told us she even did an impromptu "lecture" to the Belugas about what it means to be a Beluga. Funny.
