Friday afternoons are (usually) Molly's special time - a chance for her to pick our adventure. Twice in the past month she's picked a trip to the Zoo! Once it was just me and her, and the next time it was all three of us girls. We're getting to be pros - learning when things close and where our favorite animals are. And it's been so much fun to have the special time with Molly. She's even taken our small disappointments in stride (like when we left the zoo at 4 to go to the rides and learned that the rides were closed and we couldn't get back into the zoo!).

Ingrid!
Nona's buddy Ingrid is visiting for the week. The girls are totally smitten with her (who wouldn't be?) and Molly enjoyed introducing her to the staff at school.
Here's Ingrid taking in the "view"; Ingrid & Molly picking up the CSA box; and Ingrid and the girls doing something very silly at Nona's house.
Tomorrow they're off to some more wonderful adventures and some serious relaxation. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Clara!
Happy 3rd Birthday Dear Clara!
You're absolutely delightful to have in our family. I hope you enjoyed the day - filled with baby dolls, real babies, family, and (as you requested) chocolate cake.
In the last year you've grown up so much: you started preschool (with a little help from your sister), made new friends, learned to milk a goat, loved the chicks and the chickens, and sent your big sister off to Kindergarten. Through most of it you've kept your charming sense of humor and shared your joy of life and helped remind us not to take things too seriously. I say most of it, because some of the transitions (like starting preschool) were a little rockier than others. You're quick to smile, and quick to share your love with those of us lucky enough to know you.
Happy Birthday dear Clara! Here's to many more wonderful years of growth, love, and laughter!
love, Mama Sofia (& Zach & Molly)
