Today!

The weather this week has been ridiculously amazing. Every day brings sunshine, warm (but not hot) temperatures, and warmer evenings than we're used to. Plus the sun is setting later and it's generally been beautiful out. Here's pictures from our afternoon adventure today: a walk to the library, reading outside the library, playing at the park, and running into kindergarten classmates at the park!

Happy New Year!

Okay, so it's a little belated, but Happy 2011! We had a series of wonderful visits over the holidays: down in CV with the Franklin side, and up here with the "Zabardi" side (or is that "Gabander"?).

The new year has been a little rough: Opa went into the hospital (but should be out soon!), and Clara, Molly, and I have been fighting off stomach viruses, coughs, sore throats, and what nots. But we all seem to be on the verge of getting totally better and we're optimistic about the rest of the year!

So here's to a healthy, happy, rest of 2011!

Today we had lunch in the park, but Clara was getting exhausted and Sofi picked her up to take her home. Clara started screaming and kicking and protesting and was generally tired and out of it. I said "Clara, I have a deal, if you are respectful with Mama I will give you some yogurt before you go." That got her to stop kicking. Then to be a lecturing parent I added "Is there anytime when it's OK to be disrespectful to your parents?" Without skipping a beat, she stopped crying and said "When you're lost in a store."

Spot

Last year Zach's aunt & uncle gave the family this very soft fleece blanket. A few months ago Molly adopted it and named it Spot. They've become quite attached.
