Rad Radish!

we tested the limits of our Radish yesterday: two kids, two school backpacks, and a ... crock pot! We only had to go about a mile, and it was almost all downhill, but it worked! Thanks to Mimi for lending us the crock pot, hopefully I'll have time to check it out tonight.

Ferry with Friends

we had a mostly fun outing on Monday with Molly's friend Otis' family. we rode the ferry to the Ferry Building and had lunch, chased pigeons, etc. It was all good (although a bit cold) until Otis' mom had her purse stolen. It was one of those awful moments when we realized it had happened right under our noses - without us noticing! Her purse was on her chair, under her jacket, and someone must have been really skilled at purse snatching, slipping it out from under her without her (or any of us sitting nearby) noticing until we got up to leave. Uh.

The kids still had fun, but it was a good reminder to be careful.
