3/4 of a Century!

Happy 75th Birthday Opa! We had a quiet 3/4 themed gathering this evening enjoying 3/4 pizzas, 3/4 drinks, and 3/4 appetizers.

Waiting for BART

This is what I get when I say "pretend you're a BART train!"
Go figure. The other pictures are of Clara furiously "writing" in her journal and Molly (dressed up as "Sunny the Sunshine Fairy", since you asked) reading the scrolling BART announcements. We were on a lovely outing to see the original Muppet Movie at the pizza + movie theater.

This last one was an art project Molly did for 1st grade as part of Day of the Dead, where the assignment was to honor someone who died. She did her great grandfather Maynard Franklin who died in March.

Happy New Years (Hike)

We made it out into the beautiful day for a short, but beautiful walk in the redwoods with Nona, Opa, & Uncle Nouri. Afterwards, we followed it up with some mellow free-play on the beach at Lake Temescal. Overall, a nice way to begin the New Year.

Happy New Years (Table)

Another beautiful new year's table, and the first at Nona & Opa's new home. I also had the pleasure of making hand-dipped beeswax candles for the candle-year, and they came out surprisingly well (if I may say so myself!).
