Back to Berlin, Goodbye Tanten!

We started saying goodbye to Germany today. First to Gorlitz, then to our beloved Tanten &Oncle (that would be Christel, Barbel, & Dieter). The ride back was smooth, these kids are pros at the trains, subways, and stairs. It cooled off a bit with a thunderstorm at bedtime, and we're getting rested up for our last (full) day in Europe!

Dinner in town

Pictures from our lovely last dinner in Gorlitz - I enjoyed my first fillet of Zander (!) and there's also pictures of Christel & Barbel in front of their mother's home. The last picture is of Zach working hard to connect us to Nona and Opa via webcam!

Landeskrone Adventure

Lots of pictures from our adventure "climbing" the Landeskrone ... taking the tram to the foot of the mountain, then the tractor ride up (and down) the mountain. Plus the treats at the top!

Today we climbed the Landeskrone in a tractor, rode on street cars and lions, and spoke to Nona & Opa in the Untermarkt. Phew! We're tired.
