New Years Hike

Happy New Year!!

We continued our tradition of a New Year's Day hike yesterday, although this time we took along a princess, fairy, fairy princess, or princess fairy (we never did decide which one she was!). Nouri joined us and Mary and Dieter stayed home to recover from the fun of the evening before (or fend off colds?).

Mushroom Walk

We went on a short, cold, wet, and lovely hike this morning at Sibly Volcanic Preserve. Lots of mushrooms were found, and at the end Molly modeled her "interested" look (and the headband/earwarmer that I knit for Clara!).

Puddles

There's probably a million reasons I shouldn't have let them play in this giant puddle. But, really, I couldn't say no to a big beautiful puddle after they had been cooped up all day!
