At last - pictures from this year's intergenerational adventure in the mountains. Sadly, the camp we've been going to for the past few years burned down in the huge Rim Fire last fall. But our enthusiasm for family camp was not dampened and we transferred our spirit to the UC Berkeley Alumni Association's Lair of the Bear Camp Oski (how's that for a mouthful?). I can easily report that we had just as much fun (and got just as dirty!) as we did at our beloved Tuolumne Camp.

Farm Work
When Uncle Nouri visited the farm, we made sure to put him to work: their project was to cover they hay, which they finally did (but the wind quickly undid).

Fun with Lucy
Mary was kind enough to bring Lucy to the Farm on Saturday for a visit with Uncle Nouri & the girls. Here they are going for a pony ride and cleaning her up for a short ride in the round pen. I even took her out for a small walk on the farm.
We had so much fun, that we decided to go visit Mary & Lucy in Arbuckle the next day. The girls earned another short ride by helping feed the horses and much stalls. This time, cleaning Lucy involved a vacuum cleaner!
