And they mastered the giant Ikea chair again. Molly struggled this time, and was very frustrated on the way in to the store when she couldn't get up, bit her sister easily scrambled up. She tried again on the way out, and after much work, she did it!

Happy Birthday Zach!

The celebrations started last night with a lovely dinner. And the girls spent the afternoon making a cake for Zach, which we gave to him first thing this morning! We're ringing in 40 with style!

She's Back!

Dirty and happy and full of stories and songs! Can't wait to hear them all!

Z+S on the farm

With the kids away, Zach and I took a quick trip up to the farm to check out the new roof on the barn. The roof looks fantastic, and so does the farm. The weather was perfect (in the 80's, rather than the 100's we experienced on our last trip up there!). The yurt and the deck are doing great (still some work to do on the deck, but it's totally useable and that allows us to focus on other things for now). We hiked up Bob's Hill, and I even got Zach to take a few pictures of me! : )
