Clara and George

Well, I think his name was George. Clara and Molly were away last week - Molly to Montana with a friend (lucky!) and Clara to Nana and Pa's. I'm not sure who convinced who, but Clara ended up getting to go for a ride. I think she enjoyed it. : )

Pre-Father's Day

Happy early father's day to my dear father, and the dear father of my kids. Happy day, too, to the father not shown - my father in law, who is off having fun elsewhere in the world. You three men are an inspiration, and I am so grateful to have you in my life. 

And a special hug to my dear friends whose fathers are no longer with us. 

Ice cream and books with Molly​

Celebrating the last day of 6th grade, we got sushi, shopped at Diason, got ice cream, and browsed at Moe's Books. Again, the face is about the picture taking, not the moment. We actually had a delightful afternoon together while Clara celebrated with some friends.

Clara - Grade 4

Another awesome school portrait by Roots N Shoots. Clara is so proud of it, and told me all about how she picked out the antique apron (gift of Ann Miles! Thank you!), and discussed the apron with the photographer, and how the photographer didn't have to cajole/trick her into smiling. : ) Love this kid!!!
