First day of school

And... They're back! At school, that is. Molly's excited for her second year of middle school (7th grade)  - ready for new challenges and more (including practicing looking like she doesn't care!).  Clara is excited to start 5th grade - biggest kids in the school! Can't wait to see what fun this year brings!

We had a lovely afternoon at Uncle Seth's, celebrating his 40th b-day. Molly got into snapping photos on my "big" camera, hence all the portraits of me. :D

CCCT Camp 2017

A somewhat-annual tradition is for the kids to go to the CCCT Drama Camp, which culminates in an evening performance that varies greatly in it's ability to be understood by the audience, but is always a ton of fun for the kids.

This year, the play was loosely western themed, with Molly playing the part of Sherif Doolittle and Clara was a robot named Rob. Definitely one of the better productions we've seen. Uncle Seth and Opa joined us, which was nice.
