Edge Gym Meet

We've now been to two gym meets - we might be experts at this. We definitely know that we like morning call times better than late afternoon/evening times. This meet wasn't over until after 8pm - by which time Clara was exhausted. And we still had to get home (the meet was in Pleasanton). But she hung in there and had fun (until all that adrenaline ran out and she crashed). And her friend Daisy was a trooper and stayed the whole time.

Happy Birthday Robin!

Cousin Robin is two and we were lucky enough to get to celebrate with her. What a kid! Can't wait to see what she does next.

Gym Meet Pictures

I took way too many pictures at the meet. Or maybe just enough? It was a fun challenge to see if I could get the pictures to come out - between the distance and the lighting it wasn't an easy feat!

As you can tell, Clara had a great time (even before the medals). It was a lovely first meet: there were only three other gyms at the event, and, if only because Golden Bear outnumbered the others by a huge margin, they pretty much swept the medals. BTW - check out that girls hair! Together Clara and I worked out how to glue that hair into place!

Steam Trains

Earlier in the day we met up with Judd & Tybe & crew at the steam trains. It's been ages since I've been up there! Just as fun as we remembered. : )
