Hens
We still have the hens. Mostly they stay in their (very) roomy run, but sometimes we let them out for supervised ranging. On Saturday we decided to see how they did having some "free" ranging on the side of the house. Clara loved watching them. Molly was mostly interested in how the baby-gate works, and then in keeping Clara away from the gate (don't worry, no one was hurt. Clara was just turning around to complain about the injustice of it all).
Backyard fun
We've been getting some much-needed winter rain these last few weeks. But on Saturday the sun came out so we had some fun in our backyard. Here's Clara enjoying the bench, a ride-on toy, and the plum tree getting ready to make some plums.
