Baseball Talk

The girls watched some of the Giants - Phillies game tonight with me. Molly asked why all the players were boys, but I didn't have a good answer for that one. I told Molly that the winner got to go to the World Series and the loser had to go home, and she said that going home sounded like more fun. Then when the Giants won the game and started running onto the field and hugging each other, Molly picked up Clara and hugged her and danced around just like the folks on the field. :)

Zoo Fun

Friday afternoons are (usually) Molly's special time - a chance for her to pick our adventure. Twice in the past month she's picked a trip to the Zoo! Once it was just me and her, and the next time it was all three of us girls. We're getting to be pros - learning when things close and where our favorite animals are. And it's been so much fun to have the special time with Molly. She's even taken our small disappointments in stride (like when we left the zoo at 4 to go to the rides and learned that the rides were closed and we couldn't get back into the zoo!).

Nona's buddy Ingrid is visiting for the week. The girls are totally smitten with her (who wouldn't be?) and Molly enjoyed introducing her to the staff at school.
