Santa Monica Colors
I couldn't resist trying for a family portrait in front of this fabulous yellow wall. The kids thought otherwise. Oh well.

Santa Monica Sunday Afternoon
Sunday afternoon we went for a bike ride (Molly was a superstar dodging all the crazy traffic on the bike path!), found a truck in the playground to play with (Molly still seems to magnetically attracted to them, in spite of her denying that she likes trucks anymore), and hung out with Dave Bell.
Old Navy Pink... things?
The girls called them fairies. I'm not sure they were fairy costumes, but I don't really have a better idea, so we'll call them fairies, too!
Old Navy Chickens?
costumes! old navy had costumes! i agreed to let them try on two costumes each if they each clearly understood that we would not be bringing any home. They of course chose matching costumes, which were loads of fun to try on and look at in the mirrors.
Old Navy Crazy
on our last night in LA, during yet another meal out at a restaurant, I decided to take the kids for a walk while we waited for the food. They both begged to explore the nearby Old Navy, and this is just the beginning of the fun we had!
