A series of things from last month. 

First, Clara's note to the tooth fairy: 

"Dear Tooth Fairy, I don't want you to take my tooth. I want ballet shoes." (no ballet shoes were given, but she did get ballerina stickers).

Then, my mom found the little figurines that we used to have on the bathroom door at the house in Takoma Park. They now adorn our bathroom door. She bought them in East Germany, back when there was an East Germany.

Last minute gift preparations for New Year's (I think) ...

Lucky Molly

Molly doubled up on luck this past New Year's eve. Not only did she find the dime in the cake, but earlier that day she found a real four leaf clover outside her buddy, Lucy's house!!!

first up, me & Ms. Silver Sprite, circa 1993. At a show, looking very intense. Silver was a mare that I took care of and was lucky enough to be able to take to a few shows and pretend she was mine. Quite a challenging mare, but loads of fun!

And then, some pictures from Summer 2002, when I stayed with Mary in lovely Floyd, Virginia. Clearly, I could make people laugh, among other things. The threesome is me, Val, and Mary, hanging out in Greensboro, where Val lives. We had gone down to visit her because she was too nauseous from her early pregnancy with baby-to-be Justice. Of course, not knowing any better, we made fun of her. Payback was when I was pregnant and crazy nauseous.
