Happy 14th, Molly!

Molly is now a fully celebrated 14 year old! We had a birthday-eve family dinner at home (with takeout from Spoon, her favorite Korean place, and a pile of donuts for a cake), a bit more celebration on the actual day, and her friend party last night (hanging out with her friends at the Oakland Museum of California's Friday Nights event).

Here she is on the eve of her birthday modeling the sweater that I finished just in time! (The sweater was her request: please something with lots of cables!). What a kid!

Gym Meet 2019 #3

One more gym meet down! Clara got some of her best scores ever, and her worst. Right off the bat she fell twice from the beam, but bounced right back up and finished her routine. Then pulled herself together and rocked the rest of the meet! I'm so proud of her! (It was a Mardi Gras themed event, hence the masks and decorations) .

Throwback Tuesday - Nona in 2010

Dieter found a thumb drive with photos from 2010, including a set of pictures from a trip that Nona took with her Grams to visit Susie in Carmel Valley. Most of the photos were really shaky, but I enjoyed seeing these two. Nona looks so bright in the picture by the river!
