Pinkeye Party (and "Tomorrow")

Molly got sent home from school yesterday with the dreaded pinkeye. It's not actually that bad, even though Clara has it too. I figured we should do something fun on our 24 hour ban, but not something that would involve direct contact with other kids, so, you know, we wouldn't spread the infection. We ended up having a great time at the zoo, although, as usual, the rides were almost more of an attraction than the actual animals. And there's a kid-sized door that's always a big hit (never mind the turtles, snakes, and lizards once you go through the door - there's always a traffic jam of kids at the door).

We've also been having some difficulty with the concept of "today" and "tomorrow" (did I write about this before?). For example, here's a general transcript of an earlier conversation:

"Is it tomorrow?"
"Yes, the appointment is tomorrow."
"Is it tomorrow now?"
"No, it's today."
"Is it tomorrow?"
"No, it's today."
"What is it now?"
"It's today."
"When will it be tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow."
"What will it be tomorrow?"
"Thursday?"

Pictures: Molly on the fire truck car ride; Molly on the Fire truck truck ride; Molly on the airplane ride; this is how you spread pinkeye; Clara models our new stroller; this is how the Zander Franklin girls have fun; one attempt at a girls group picture, foiled by Molly's actual interest in the elephants (or maybe ducks swimming in the moat?).
