How excited were the kids to get their Clipper Cards? Sooo excited!
Now that Clara's 5, she has to pay kid fare on busses and BART (no more free rides!). We'd been meaning to get a Clipper Card for Molly for over a year now, but the process isn't easy. Adult cards can be picked up at any drug store or ordered online, but for kids (and seniors) you have to present the kid and proof of their age (passport, birth certificate, etc.) in person at a limited number of places that have their own limited hours. We finally waded through the process in October and the kids now each have their own transit card.
We've had a lot of fun "hooping" onto the bus and BART since we got these.
