Molly's Birthday Party (March 2013)

So, for Molly's 8th birthday party, she was determined to have a sleepover. She invited her favorite people, a mix of boys and girls. One girl couldn't come because her parents wouldn't let her sleep over with boys, but the rest of the girls had previous plans, which whittled the party down to just Molly, Nate, and Leo. They had a lovely time - loads of laughing and playing, and staying up waaaay tooo late. Molly was the first to throw in the towel (they were sleeping in the living room with me as chaperone) and moved back to her bed. The boys giggled and snorted until I split them up, too.

They definitely enjoyed themselves, but Molly has said on more than one occasion since then that next year she'd like to have a party with just girls.
