We are inching our way to departure for the big road trip (5 1/2 weeks traveling around the West!). Nana and Pa are generously lending us their Airstream trailer for the summer (wow!), which will make this trip that much more awesome. However, we had one big puzzle piece to be solved with the trailer: where to put the kids. After thinking and internet reading and more of both of those, I think I worked out a solid solution! I adapted a cot to fit over the dinette bed to make a bunk bed.
We are doing a quick test run overnight at the farm, and by all appearances, the bed worked!
