It's been a week of transitions! We started the week with Clara's "moving up" ceremony. It was a short little event to commemorate the transition of her class from the "Beluga" room to the "Lion Cub" room. The actual changes in her daily activities will be very minimal, but it's nice to start practicing marking time, and reflecting on change. :)
In an interesting turn of events, when we were picking out clothes the night before, Clara immediately knew what she wanted to wear: "That costume, but not the bee costume." After a few questions and hunting through her drawers with her, I finally pieced it together that she wanted to wear Molly's old cow costume. I brought it down for her and she was thrilled to put it on. She's asked for it every day since. This is the very same costume that Molly wore almost weekly during her Beluga year.
Here's a priceless photo of Molly-the-cow holding Clara as an infant
Molly using the costume for it's original intent: as a Halloween costume

and another Molly-big-cow-sister photo.
