Wet, Cold, and Happy

So, in spite of the fact that we were freezing at la Roche-aux-Fees, we decided that what the family needed was a playground. So went to the proprietors of the rocks to ask where the nearest playground might be. Of course, they spoke no English, so I cobbled together my best french and managed to get directions to a nearby playground that turned out to be just what we needed. It wasn't fancy. It wasn't crazy. The play structure itself was, in fact, somewhat boring looking. But it was just enough to get the kids out and running. We were wet and cold, but happy.

This was also the beginning of me taking photos of the signage on our trip. More to come. I promise. :)
